The Accounting Director is responsible for all administrative functions needed to generate, post and track AR, AP, payroll and all related financial transactions. The accounting director is also responsible for all administrative functions necessary to maintain and enhance the financial health and well-being of the agency. The accounting director will maintain the accounting systems on a daily basis and will also be responsible for the ongoing evaluation of internal agency systems as they relate to the agency’s ability to provide accurate financial reporting to management and clients.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Accountability for maintenance of systems for payables, receivables, payroll, banking, etc.
• Assembly of all job related expenses and creation of final invoice to client
• Generate appropriate AP, AR, Banking and all other financial reports as may be needed by agency executive leadership.
• Monitor manage and contact as necessary, aging of both receivables and payables insuring that incoming and outgoing payments are timely.
• Insure meeting all payroll, benefits and tax responsibilities
