His client in the San Francisco Bay area has an urgent need to identify, recruit and hire this EVP absolutely as soon as possible.    We would prefer to identify candidates who would not require relocation, only from a timing perspective.  We'd like to get the EVP started as quickly as possible. The job description is pretty clear about the importance of the position, it's also clear about the kind of ambitious (driven) personality that we're looking for.

General Description:
Our St. Louis client is looking for a versatile artist who has a vivid imagination and is a storyteller.  This artist will create characters and help “bring them to life” by imagining and drawing the world your character lives in and every element in that world.  You’ll work with a product development team creating toys that can become the next sensation.  The corporate mandate is to “use technology in a way that it becomes indistinguishable from magic”.  It all starts with the way the character looks and the emotional reaction it creates . . . You will help your ideas and colleagues’ ideas “come to life” . . literally.  The goal is to create something unexpected, something that’s never been done or seen before. 

Primary Responsibilities:
•    Bring new toy characters to life by drawing faces, figures and the elements of the world they live in.
•    Help create and expand the character’s “back story” including personality, environment, friends, fabrics, sounds, movements, colors  . . . “the world they live in”.
•    Participate in the product development process, recommending materials, logo, packaging, sales materials, directing TV spots, etc.
•    Oversee every nuance of the character/product development process.
•    Laugh in the face of change, process feedback pleasantly and impersonally.
•    Proactively contribute to the culture and help do whatever needs to be done.
•    Stay abreast of current cultural and toy industry trends
•    Travel as necessary (up to 20%)

Experience:
Toy experience is not necessary!  We need an artist with an active imagination and who has a diverse style, from an ability to draw licensed characters to fantasy beings (mermaids, ponies).  We’re looking for a team player who takes direction well, who understands frequent, unexpected change and who

New Search, Dallas Client: Group Creative Director, CPG #13045

General Description:
This position is a result of the ongoing growth of our Dallas client.  This GCD (art or writer) must be strategically founded and capable of delivering concepts and ideas visually executed across the spectrum of consumer channels, including packaging, print, POS, events, video, outdoor and interactive.  We need a leader experienced in concept development, senior level client presentations and the nurturing and growth of younger creatives.  The GCD will have the responsibility of leading a growing team to creative brilliance resulting in very happy clients enjoying huge sales gains! 

Primary Responsibilities:
•    Create an environment fostering superb strategically driven, “idea based” creative, delivered to the exacting technical and time driven needs of your client, consistently, happily and profitably.
•    Work closely with Group Account Directors to assess client needs and deliver impactful creative beyond expectation.
•    Deliver visual solutions which can be “universally” executed across all marketing/production channels and opportunities. 
•    Present creative solutions to Senior Client representatives, in an impactful, compelling and memorable (perhaps outrageous) way that sells killer creative. 
•    Champion a strategically driven, client focused, non-political and efficiently productive department that works well with others.
•    Travel as necessary in support of client activities and new business.
