General Description:
The role of this consumer brand strategist and thought leader is to develop valuable, consultative client relationships at the CMO and/or CCO level, while helping grow the existing consumer practice team. Principal Responsibilities:
• Act as a senior, strategic counselor for clients, developing, presenting and executing plans for integrated communications campaigns that deliver measurable results.
• Leverage existing expertise to pursue significant opportunities with Fortune 100 CPG brands.
• Continue to raise the profile of St. Louis’s consumer practice through business development and marketing efforts, and by leveraging the deep expertise that currently exists within the team to pursue the significant opportunities that exist in both the regional and global marketplaces.
• Provide counsel to C-level clients by understanding and driving the future of consumer integrated marketing, especially the adoption of digital practices.
• Lead, support, mentor and grow the team you’re leading, sometimes distributed among several offices.
Experience:
We’re looking for CPG brand thought leaders with at least 15 years of experience with CPG brands. We’re looking for a blend of advertising, marketing and PR excellence, with fluency in integrated online communication strategies. You’re an unflappable charismatic leader who can inspire teams to do their best work while consistently earning the client’s trust to execute that work. You control the client in the presentation with your eloquence, presence and veteran savvy. You have a track record of consistent new business wins and success growing that client’s revenue. You develop loyal client relationships.
