Director of Corporate Brand Strategy
General Description:
This is a unique opportunity to manage the master brand of a global company. Express Scripts is the leader in pharmacy benefits management and is undergoing an evolution of its brand. This leader will drive brand consistency across all the existing product and service areas while establishing a framework for the branding of new products. You will help insure that operations and communications speak with a consistent voice.
You will also oversee the development of the roll-out of the brand internally, while reviewing all existing communications. You’ll direct the communications for educating the stakeholders about the value of brand consistency and the impact of “living the brand”.
Responsibilities Include:
• Work with leaders of cross-functional teams creating brand alignment and establishing the value of the brand both internally and externally.
• Develop, deliver and monitor the metrics to measure health of the brand and campaigns internally and externally, analyze and make appropriate adjustments.
• Develop the brand framework for delivery of new products/services.
• Create the internal protocols to insure that brand campaigns and all communications align with business objectives and are consistently executed across all media channels.
• Be able to review existing material for proper branding and articulate how it is improper for brand vision or voice.
Experience:
We’re looking for corporate branding experts with at least 7 years’ global corporate brand building experience (not product marketers) and who are relationship builders. We’re looking for an ambitious, curious and patient person, who’s successfully navigated the politics of internal change effectively. You understand the visual elements of branding in creative, collateral, online, through broadcast, direct and every other communications channel. You’ve worked with internal and external creative agencies, articulating the vision, voice and value of a corporate brand. You’ll likely be saying “no” frequently, so diplomacy, empathy and encouragement are essential traits. Superior presentation skills will be used frequently.
