I'm looking for a part-time researcher. Basically, this is someone who knows how to find specific things online. The research experience that I'm looking for does not have to be for recruiting or staffing (although that would be great!). Researchers for the legal profession could make terrific candidates. Here's the description I'm posing online:
A retained executive search firm in St. Louis is looking for a researcher to help identify candidates based on specific criteria, as determined by each individual search. This is a critical first step in every retained recruiting relationship and can grow into a long term, profitable position. The result of your research will be extensive, detailed lists of appropriate candidates and their contact information, ideally from our clients’ competitors.
We’re looking for an ambitious and smart self-starter, who has an engaging personality and enjoys the challenge and satisfaction of doing important work. We’re looking for candidates with experience conducting research, not necessarily research specifically for recruiters. AIRS Certification or Boolean search expertise is highly desired. Experience using various databases, search engines and available lists in thoughtful and creative ways will be essential. Experience using Applicant Tracking System (ATS) databases required, with Bullhorn familiarity strongly preferred.
The position can be conducted from a home office and outside of regular working hours. The hours are flexible. The role is about using online resources for research and preliminarily engaging passive candidates with phone calls and emails. Persuasive presentation skills are necessary.
A custom compensation package will be created for the selected candidate. The compensation will be based on experience and your success, as it relates to this position. There can be incentives for success.
