General Description:
The Human Resources Director is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function of our St. Louis client. You will implement human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities and protocols, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, performance management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations. This is a fabulous opportunity to help an already established agency build a first in class practice.
Experience:
We’re looking for candidates with at least eight years’ general HR experience in an advertising agency, PR or marketing communications firm. with experience establishing successful protocols, maintaining positive employee relations, recruiting and benefit administration. A Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or similar certification preferred.
We’re looking for experienced HR pros with superb listening and communication skills. You are empathetic and able to build rapport quickly with agency employees from executive leadership team to the interns. We have a strong, engaging and collaborative culture and want to enhance it as the agency grows. We’ll rely on your fluency with the law and various regulations. We want a business leader who can develop and lead this critical component of the agency’s continuing success, while earning the trust and respect of all of our employees.
