General Description:
The Human Resources Director is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function of our St. Louis client.  You will implement human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities and protocols, including talent acquisition, staffing,  employment processing,  compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, performance management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations.  This is a fabulous opportunity to help an already established agency build a first in class practice.

Experience:
We’re looking for candidates with at least eight years’ general HR experience in an advertising agency, PR or marketing communications firm. with experience establishing successful protocols, maintaining positive employee relations, recruiting and benefit administration.  A Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or similar certification preferred.

Meet Google's New Job-Match API: Cloud Jobs

I just ran across a blog post that I think is worth sharing.  It was originally written by Stephen Duque.

It’s a problem that recruiters and candidates alike are all too familiar with:poorly written job descriptions  that do little to direct the right talent to the right open positions abound. To make it even worse, many resumes are similarly uninformative, making it equally challenging for employers to find the right candidates through simple keyword searches. Google has stepped in to do something about this bidirectional mess.  
In a blog post on November 15, 2016, Google announced it’s now job-match API, Cloud Jobs. “Hiring is one of the hardest things organizations do” says the post. “Part of the difficulty comes from a lack of industry standards to define and describe occupations and how they align to specific skills.” Google’s Cloud Jobs aims to change that.

A part of Google Cloud Machine Learning group, Cloud Jobs is currently in the alpha testing phase and available only to a limited number of companies. In its complete form, Cloud Jobs will be a big, free to use API that boasts a really smart, intuitive job match algorithm to pair job seekers with relevant positions. Anyone will be able to use it and, when used in combination with applicant tracking systems (ATSs), will allow companies to better leverage contacts from previous applications to fill new job openings.

St. Louis Social Media Client: Product Manager #16125

General Description:
Reporting to the CTO, The Social Media Product Manager is the catalyst for development and stewardship of our St. Louis Client’s product platform. You are the in-house product expert, able to speak to and make recommendations for client solutions. You will serve as a bridge for these products from the research and recommendation phase to the concept, design, and implementation with internal staff. The Director of Product Development will facilitate product development meetings and manage the portfolio of product development initiatives. You will collaborate regularly with Client Success teams, Media, and Community Engagement Managers to understand client and market needs.

Primary Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Strategic Planning
•    Research, analyze, and monitor client industry needs and trends.
•    Define business value of potential solutions for target markets in order to guide and prioritize development of products, and features (or their components) for Client Success teams.
•    Specify market requirements for current and future products through market research, industry experience, and design inputs from stakeholders, customers, and prospects. Support ongoing management of product portfolio, including managing to long-term product development roadmap.
•    Participate in defining strategic pricing models for new and existing products, considering competitive pricing models, internal costs, value proposition metrics (e.g., benefits, savings to clients, process costs, etc.), market acceptance, and adoption rates, and present final pricing recommendations to leadership for approval.
